The Geological Society of Thailand (GST), in collaboration with geoscience organizations, is delighted to host The 18th Regional Geoscience Conference of Southeast Asia (GEOSEA XVIII 2024). Taking place from 20th to 23rd February 2024 at the Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid Hotel in Khon Kaen, Thailand, this conference aims to promote the theme “Geoscience for Society” and emphasize the significance of geology in communities and societies.

GEOSEA XVIII provides an excellent platform for participants, particularly geoscience communities in Southeast Asia, to foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and share knowledge among GEOSEA members, institutions, organizations, and geoscientists. Additionally, the GST takes pride in introducing “The Land of Dinosaurs Roaming” in Khon Kaen and its surrounding areas. This region in northeastern Thailand has been renowned for its discoveries of diverse dinosaurs from the Jurassic to Cretaceous periods. It presents a marvelous opportunity for geoscientists from Southeast Asia to explore various ancient creatures that once roamed the Earth.
